[nabs] presentations/discussions

Hey Ashley, I understand your frustration.
If I’m unable to hear a classmate or even a speaker I’ll raise my hand and ask them to please speak up.
I don’t think students do this intentionally; I’m soft-spoken and didn’t realize I was difficult to hear until it was brought to my attention by a classmate. Try to be a bit patient with your fellow classmates .

Hi all,

Isn’t it frustrating to have presenters with soft voices and/or accents.
You can’t hear them well and miss important content.
Then students try to talk in class across the room and they’re hard to hear.
I’m experiencing this frustration in classes, particularly grammar.
I wish the school had microphones or students got better speaking skills!

Venting.
Ashley
