BlankI will call the library tomorrow! this is an online program, I am out of state, so I really need some help! I am sure once I learn where to look, the next research inquiry will go more smoothly!

I second the thoughts. Taking a break and just stepping away can often cause great ah-ha moments:) where you suddenly come up with the actual place to find such resources.
Also, as has been said before librarians can be some of the most wonderful individuals when it comes to research. Always have a positive attitude with them and where a smile when interacting. I have found that this will help them want to serve you and will make your life a thousand times easier! Best of luck and just hang in there!

Thanks! I did send an email requesting help! and I did get away from the computer for a while!!! was feeling kind of stressed! they had a search box for library sources and I put adjustment blindness, and it said nothing found, I am not believing that!
tomorrow is another day, I won't think about it now, I'll think about it tomorrow, when I can stand it.

I would call the library and have them walk you through how to find the databases, I did that on more than one occasion. I think a librarian even helped me with some search ideas.
But for right now, take a deep breath and walk away for a little while, get away from the computer and school work, take a walk or listen to some music. That way you can recharge your batteries and when you get back to the research things should go better.

I am a new student at the University of Kentucky. I am taking Masters classes in rehabilitation counseling. I have been for the last hour and a half trying to navigate the complicated library page. I am writing a paper about blindness, diagnosis, psycho-social adjustment, society veiws, rehabilitation implications.....but for the life of me I can't seem to find general data bases like Ebsco or Academic Search Premier....they have to be somewhere!!! I've written an email asking for help from the refference desk...and for now I am just tired and anoyed!!!! anyone else have research issues?
Got any ideas, tips for restoring my sanity?
