Ashley,
As far as publishing goes, each magazine has its own submission guidelines.
Where you try to get something published is entirely contingient on the
theme and content of the material you are wanting to submit. My suggestion
would be to first check out som eMagazines, as it tends to be *slightly*
easier to get material published in that market, that is if you have the
time to make submissions. Looking for eMagazines that cover the particular
subject area for which your material is written would be a good step.

Ashley,
O know that NFB News Line offers some magazines through its service. It's
a number you call and there's a menu, in an Eloquence voice, tha tells you
papers they have available in your area. They also have some magazines, too
and I know the New Yorker was one of them. Now they have spoken tv listings
and job searching. Its free and a pretty cool service. Maybe that would
help.
As far as getting published, I know there's an online magazine for
writers with disabilities called Breath Shadow. Don't know the URL but it
should come up if you google appropriately. If you're looking for
mainstream, tangible stuff, I'd say look on the individual magazine's site
for guidelines. I'm sure different magazines have different rules about who
can submit and what they can sumit on, so I'd recommend browsing individual
sites. Hope that helps some.
