Hi Guys,
    Well, I hate to say it, but you missed a *superb* meeting this
past Monday evening. The Convention Committee is hard at work planning
your national convention.

Here are some of the topics we discussed:
- What do people want? We think they want seminars on Apple products,
an awesome comedian to entertain them by night, a stellar Welcome
Party to meet new friends, and they want food. They always want food.
We may have had a transgression about brownies...just sayin'.
- When we plan the Scholarship lunch, how should we lay out the room
so that people can talk and hang out but still eat at their tables?
- We all recognize that young adults need to be better represented in
ACB. how do we do this? How do we get our voices heard? If we hold a
Membership seminar, how do we structure it and what topics do we
discuss?
- There's a spa in the hotel. Do we want to have a seminar on fashion,
shopping, and hair? Ladies love things like that. Or, do we just want
to see about finagling low-cost mani/petis from the spa? Or, are we
really certain at all.
- What about an employment seminar? What should we cover. If we get
young employed people to come, will anyone but students be attracted?
Can we just cover one broad topic. Wouldn't it be cool if there was a
blind juggler? Blind people are drastically under employed. This is a
sad thing....how can ACBS help or inspire people to work?
- Everyone says that an Apple a day keeps the doctor away. We here at
ACBS certainly agree; last year our Apple event was our best selling
seminar. We packed a conference room so well that we ran out of chairs
and table space for all. It was a bit chaotic. We're not going to let
that happen again, but we're going to make sure your Q&As about Seri
and the web item rowder and the hotest new apps are answered. Last
year we had a panel, how should we structure our Apple seminar this
year? What should we discuss...DISCUSS!
- The Convention COmmittee also reflected back on past ACBS
Conventions. We talked about what seminars and events, and which ones
did not. Maybe you've been to one of our awesome conventions in the
past, and you want to tell us what you liked, and what you didn't?
GREAT! We can't wait to hear about it.

   This is your organization; these are your programs. Let us know if
