[nabs] Staying attentive in night or long classes

Hey Sara,
   Definitely something I struggle with. I have two night classes;
like Susan, they're from 7-10. I also have classes right before these
at 3:30-6:30. In the half hour break, I have to water/break my guide
dog and eat a sandwich/snack for dinner. I find that eating things
like granola bars, peanut butter and crackers, or some fruit give me a
boost. Also, I agree with Ty here; the water and gum really seem to
help. I also suck on mints too, and the tingliness can sometimes help.
I would, say, as well, that if you get a break at all in those times,
use it to get up and stretch; go to the bathroom, just walk through
the hallways. If possible, popping outside for a quick break is great.
The chill can definitely wake you up, or so I've found.
