[nabs] question about Word

BlankThanks!!! I sometimes hate required amounts of pages, I've had instructors say I was "wordy" because of course I  had to elaborate when fewer words would have sufficed! if a paper is well written, covers all the subject matter and is not the exact length I don't think it should matter. Being verbose for the sake of a word count is just plain silly!!!!!

  While I am not sure just how many words "fit on one page", I usually go by the word count. I also type all of my papers single spaced and then go back and double space;this ensures me that I have all required pages accounted for. With that being said, I have never had a instructor tell me that I haven't met my page requirement...in fact, I usually have a page or two more than what is asked for.

    So I am writing an 8 page paper, my word count is 2,000 but  it says I only have 6 pages, does anyone know about how many words fit on one page?
    Not sure if I have all the margins set right anyway!!!!
