[ACBS] New

Ty,
   Not to be a tyrant or anything, but other schools help with vet
bills. GDB, Guiding Eyes, and Pilot advertise as having lifetime
medical assistance for their graduates. Leader Dogs, Guide Dog
Foundation, Guide Dogs of America, and the Seeing Eye all provide vet
assistance within a specified amount of time, and the majority of
guide dog schools have a lone program where outstanding and necessary
medical procedures can be covered with no interest loans if presented
to the school. I didn't mean to step on any toes, but I just wanted to
deciminate info. For anyone thinkining about getting a guide dog, I
definitely recommend looking on the Guide Dog Users Inc (another acb
affiliate) web site at http://www.gdui.org and looking at there school
survey, which gives a breakdown of the most common questions asked by
applicants and each school answers them. It's a bit out of date but
the info is still helpful. So, if my previous info is incorrect, I
apologize. The source I got it from is about five years old.
