Hello to all members and friends!



Well, it is hard to believe that it is almost time for Thanksgiving, and
then, guess what, Christmas!!!



For our November TCB meeting, Rob Hill will be speaking to us about the 211
HelpLine. He is an employee there and just happens to be blind. Please come
and join us for some very good information and some insight on how Rob does
his job there.  We will plan for a bit of time for questions at the end.



All are welcome to come to the Tulsa Council of the Blind meetings. You do
not have to be blind, or even know someone who is. You just have to have a
desire to be involved in the betterment of the lives of those who are blind
and visually impaired, whether they are adults, teens, or children. You do
not have to be a member either to join us.



So, please join us! We will be meeting at the Village Inn located at 2745 S.
Harvard Avenue in Tulsa from 6 to 7:30 pm on Friday, November 11th.



Come prepared to pay your $5 TCB dues so you can vote for our Board of
Directors. These include:  President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer,
and three Members at Large. Nominations will also be taken from the floor at
the meeting.
