The Oklahoma School for the Blind in Muskogee is the statewide resource for the education of blind and visually impaired individuals in Oklahoma. We will emphasize the Extended Core Curriculum that is essential in educating students who are blind or visually impaired. This includes Braille, Abacus, Orientation and Mobility, Independent Living Skills and Assistive Technology.
 
Information will be available regarding specialized instructional materials that are needed in educating visually impaired students.
 
Our guests include teachers of the visually impaired, eye care specialists, Oklahoma legislators, and other interested persons. We sincerely hope you will make plans to attend and feel free to bring someone with you.
 
You are welcome to come and go at your leisure. We have several tours available for you to choose from so wear your walking shoes.
