As the calendar turns over  to the month of  April, I am very happy to 
report that there are now 230 cosponsors for H.R.734, The Pedestrian Safety 
Enhancement Act.



Given the continued momentum that this legislation  is experiencing, a 
targeted approach in contacting members of the Energy and commerce Committee 
over Easter Recess is warranted. Below is the list of cosponsors that are 
members of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. If you see your 
member listed please call him-her.



Please thank them for supporting H.R.734 and ask that they contact Chairman 
Waxman to request   a hearing on the dangers hybrid and electric vehicles 
pose to people who are blind or visually impaired.
