Advances in Assistive Technologies

Ray Zardetto is joined this week by technology experts in the assistive
technology arena of AT&T Labs to discuss current and upcoming technologies
that can help improve the lives of people with disabilities. The panelists
are: Jay Wilpon, Executive Director, Speech Services Research; Amanda Stent,
Principal Member of Technical Staff; and Bob Miller, Executive Director,
Communications Technology Research Department.

Ray also explores the programs AT&T uses to attract, accommodate, support
and retain people with disabilities as employees, and discusses a
newly-announced program AT&T has undertaken to hire disabled veterans. His
guests for this segment are Rachel Book, Senior Manager, Talent Attraction;
Evelyn Walker, Senior Diversity Manager, Talent Attraction; and Elizabeth
Dixon, Senior Human Resource Specialist, Diversity and Inclusion.
