The American Council of the Blind of Oregon will be holding its 55th annual 
convention October 15, 16, and 17 at the Red Lion Hotel in Salem Oregon.  As 
a part of our convention, we would like to honor  individuals who have given 
outstanding service to the blind of Oregon.  If you know, of such a person, 
please write to Carrie Kokel, our awards chairperson, stating why you feel 
the individual should be given this award.  Names for consideration by the 
awards committee should be provided no later than October 1, 2010.
