[oregon-l] Fw: OCB Public Input Announcement

Cynicism at its best (or worst). This is what makes this country
maintain its status quo. No one wants change really, they just want to
complain.

So, right, no point in answering the survey. For in doing so, change
might actually take place and we cannot have that, can we?

Quote of the nanosecond...
Tis an ill wind that blows no minds.

Cheree Heppe here:

No point in answering such a survey.

The good answers will be retained; the bad answers will be omitted, so the
statistics can be made to show the good work OCB has always done. Most
assuredly, the consumer who voices documentable complaints will be even more
poorly treated than ever.

Daisia, eh? I remember her.

  OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC INPUT

The Oregon Commission for the Blind is seeking input regarding our
Vocational Rehabilitation Program.

In planning vocational rehabilitation services for the next year, we are
seeking feedback about how to best use our resources in meeting the
employment needs of Oregonians who are blind? We are interested in hearing
about:

  * What services have been the most helpful to you?

  * What services need to be developed and or expanded?

There are three ways to provide input:

  1. In Person: Attend a Public Hearing being held on June 13th, from
11:30-1:00 p.m., at the Commission for the Blind, main headquarters, 535 SE
12th Avenue, Portland, OR 97214.

  2. E-mail: Send an e-mail with your comments/input to:
ocb.mail at state.or.us “ATTN: Dacia Johnson”

  3. U.S. Mail: Provide written input: attn. Dacia Johnson,
Oregon Commission for the Blind, 535 SE 12th Avenue, Portland, OR 97214.

If you require an accommodation to participate in the public hearing,
please contact Dacia Johnson at (971) 673-1588 by Thursday, June 9th.

The deadline for submission of public input is Friday, June 17th, 2011.
