For those of you that have not yet heard Mr. Don Welch of Texas passed away on Saturday, June 26th below is his obituary.

Welch, Billy Don Born February 22, 1931 and passed away June 26, 2010. Survived by his wife Mary Sue Welch; daughters, Robin Welch, Cindy Smiles and husband Zach; son, William Sanders; brother, Bennie Welch; along with several nieces and nephews. Billy worked for Randolph Sheppard Vendors program for blind entreprenuers, where he was manager for 56 years. He was honored by his peers as 1st manager of longest standing in October 2009. He loved the game of blackjack and placed 2nd in 2 tournaments. He was a graduate of Texas School for the Blind and was later appointed by the governor as a member of the board of directors where he served for 6 years. He was the founder of the "All Blind Children of Texas" foundation. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the All Blind Children foundation.www.abctx.org
