[Sasi] phones

Hi Rick, Accents sure make conversations difficult. One way to possibly make
sound a little better when using a speaker phone is to use the mute button
if available on the phone. This will reduce Some of the extraneous sounds
picked up by the speaker phone when you are being spoken to... Regarding the
tinney sound often call center staff use headsets to reduce stress injury.
Some of these headsets are rather poor at doing their job of being a
telephone... The sound you were hearing may have been caused by the
microphone on the headset of the person you are speaking to. My co-worker
uses a low quality headset and her voice quality is difficult to understand.
On the other hand my headset is a professional headset and I have to
modulate to a lower volume---since my microphone is so sensative...
Take care.
Lor
