Hi Ashu,
Have you tried career-oriented social networking sites like LinkedIn? It's
a site for professionals to network with each other, and companies also use
it when they're looking for people to hire. I just read an article in The
Economist last week about how many companies are finding new workers using
this site. I haven't used it personally, so I'm not sure how it works.
One thing you might think about is becoming a consultant. You could do
freelance work for different organizations, and then you can show that
experience on your resume or CV. A lot of people with disabilities do this,
and it's a good way to get started in a career if you can't find full-time
work right away.
All the best,
Jeremy

Hi Rita,
With my degrees i might be able to work in core companies or as HR in
any managing or banking sectors or work in R&D of green tech companies. I'm
electrical engg & not a electronics & communication engg(that deals with
electronic/digital devises like hearing aids).
My optics nerves are very thin that is why my vision is low. There are
no devises ever made in India or any other country that can enhance strength
of optic nerves.
I use SIEMENS 's hearing aid. This was imported from Germany & assembled in
India. It uses program-able technology.
I'm really glad & thankful for your suggestion.
Regards,
Ashu

Hello Ashu,
With your degree is there a manufacturer in India that produces devices for
the visually impaired or hard of hearing? I wonder if you might help
develop some type of device that would be useful to these types of
disabilities in your country.
Also, if you're interested in subscribing to a magazine for people who are
deaf-blind called "Good Cheer", please contact me privately at:
hoosierrita at comcast.net
Good luck on your job search.
Rita
