sorry scott to disagree with you,
but your statements are mistaken regarding cochlear implants
and it sure beats being deaf, on the DBCI LIST
THERE ARE SOME FOLKS THAT HAVE HAD THEIRS FOR OVER 20 YEARS.
WHEN YOU REACH THE POINT OF NOT HERING THE HAIR NERVES IN THE COCHLEAR ARE
ALREADY DEAD BUT THE ROOTS
EMBEDDED IN THE SKIN ARE STILL GOOD AND CAN BE STIMULATED WITH ELECTROBES
ENABLEING HEARING.
IF YOU ARE A CANDIDATE YOU SHOULD GIVE IT A TRY, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT
YOU CAN ALWAYS HAVE IT REMOVED BUT IF YOU DID OBTAIN HEARING I'D GIVE MY
ENTIRE ESTATE TO BET YOU WOULD NOT BE
ABLE TO GIVE IT UP.
IN OTHER WORDS SCOT, DON'T KNOCK IT TILL YOU TRY IT.
JEFF AND INCREDIBLE DOCKER
