Thanks for the suggestion. I think that I could tolerate earphones if they were wireless. My husband used to use them because he likes to watch TV late at night. Later on when we figured out that because he allows his dog on the bed and I don't, and he likes to eat messy things in bed, and we were both disturbing each other's sleep, we decided to each have our own rooms. Works out great!

  cheryl,
have you tried to connect headphones to your radio or tv this brings the sound directly into your ear, also even if one ear
is worse than the other, use both it does improve things,
another advantage is that you can have the loudness at a level comfortable for you
  without disturbing anyone else

  jeff and incredible docker
p.s. i got your email address
but i'm gonna post my story on the list until
i get a complaint from the moderator.

Just wondering what method you all use to get the news. I am finding it more and more difficult to hear radio or T.V. I frequently misunderstand what is being said. Now I am using my computer more and more. Maybe I should just put a sleeping bag next to it.

    Cheryl
