Jeri, When I was losing hearing, I sometimes got disoriented & lost with my dog guide. Now that I have bilateral CIs, I am doing much better. I prefer to cross unlighted intersections with medium to low traffic because they are some quieter, & I had accessible traffic signals installed at busy intersections to assist me in those areas.
