Hi all,

Since I have been having difficulty in hearing my watch, I did a little browsing. I thought perhaps someone else might benefit from this info as well.

SILENT TOUCH WATCH AND ARARM ALARM SYSTEM:Numerous aids for the visual and the hearing impaired are available and many are in the making, but when this watch is real, the challenged would benefit from alerts received by the watch against all dangers and routines within the confines of the house. Wearing the Silent Touch Watch from SilentCall Communications, the vision and hearing impaired can be alerted from a distance of 300 feet about a doorbell or a phone ringing, or a fire alarm, bugler alarm or against a smoke detector sounding.

The alerts reach the wearer in both tactile and visual display and the watch also features a wake-up-alarm clock. The Silent Touch watch with wide range of monitors and alarms, making it easy for the wearer to differentiate, works well with Sidekick II signature device to deliver the features. The watch will be made available from June 1, and will be accompanied by a travel case and a docking station that connects the watch to a mattress vibrator.

So when the deaf or blind person sets the watch to charge, the person can still be connected with the watch's alarms which would then vibrate the mattress in different styles making it easy for the person to guess what the alarm sounding denotes. The Silent Touch watch will be priced at $150 with the charger costing an additional $117.65, but if you buy the entire kit carrying a watch, charger, and bed vibrator it would then cost $289. http://www.silentcall.com/
