Hi Amy,
Looks like a number of good resources have 
already been given. Another is the organization 
that we're going to be merging with:
Center for Blind & Visually Impaired Children, 
5600 W. Brown Deer Rd. Suite 4, Milwaukee 
53223-2346, 414-355-3060. They serve children up 
to age six but may be able to provide other 
resources. Just from personal experience, I think 
it's important to give these children 
responsibilities so they learn to become 
independent as they grow older. Hope the parent 
does find the needed resources; they are smart to 
look into this now while there is time to help the child as much as possible.
