As you know Congress is back from its August recess and has a full plate of legislation to consider. It is very unlikely that all appropriations bills will be completed by the end of the fiscal year and that a Continuing Resolution will be necessary to continue funding the federal government. At this time it isn't expected that S. 1686, the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act which will fund the NLS Digital Talking Book Program will be considered during the month of September. If for some reason, the circumstances change, I will send out a communication to all of you.
