Job Description:
The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania is accepting applications to fill three (3) Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) positions in the Criminal Division. AUSAs in the Criminal Division have the opportunity to represent the interests of the United States in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in a wide variety of complex cases involving drug trafficking, money laundering, firearms and other violent offenses, cyber-crimes, public corruption, terrorism, financial fraud, crimes against children, human trafficking, and environmental crimes, among others.
Qualifications:
United States citizenship is required. Applicants must possess a J.D. degree, be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction) and have at least three years of post-J.D. experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred applicants will possess substantial experience in handling a variety of complex criminal litigation including but not limited to major economic crimes, public corruption, drug trafficking, violent crimes, child exploitation cases, and grand jury practices. The preferred applicant will have substantial experience prosecuting these types of cases and handling all phases of prosecution including pre-trial litigation, trials, sentencing, post-sentencing proceedings and appeals. Preferred applicants will also demonstrate superior oral and written communications skills, possess the ability to work as part of a team, with an emphasis on working well with client agencies. Applicants should have strong character and interpersonal skills and demonstrate the capacity to function with minimal guidance in a highly demanding environment.

Salary:
The range of annual pay is $69,107 to $183,400, which includes a 16.50% to 18.59% locality pay supplement based on the duty station of the position.
Travel:
Travel will be required, primarily within the Middle District of Pennsylvania (33-county area) with occasional trips to other districts, as well as to the National Advocacy Center in Columbia, South Carolina for training and conferences.

Job Description:
This position is a mission critical occupation and is responsible for analyzing public health programs, policies and procedures to ensure that Health Resources and Services Administration meets its mission, goals and objectives.
As a Lead Public Health Analyst, you serve as part of IEA's Division of Strategic External Engagement working closely with the Division Director to provide project management and subject matter expertise to a team of analysts.
Your major duties and responsibilities include:
- Leading, coordinating, and acting as a staff resource and point of contact to coordinate HRSA external events and the amplification of cross-HRSA efforts through regional offices.
- Working with the team to develop guidance for new stakeholder outreach and engagement initiatives for regional offices.

Job Description:
The United States Attorney is seeking an exceptional applicant to serve as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Appellate Division in Raleigh. Job Description:
Interns will be assigned to one of two divisions: Criminal or Civil. Assignments will include legal research, drafting pleadings and responses and preparing appellate briefs.
If assigned to the Criminal Division, interns will assist attorneys in all phases of criminal prosecution including charging decisions, discovery, pretrial hearings, trials, sentencings, and habeas corpus actions.
If assigned to the Civil Division, interns will assist in all phases of civil litigation including discovery, depositions, pretrial hearings, and trials.
Qualifications:
Any law student enrolled at least half-time, and who has completed at least one semester of law school is eligible to apply for volunteer internship positions at any time. First-year law students who have not completed their first semester may apply for volunteer internships after December 1. The Northern District of Indiana is currently soliciting applications for Law Internship (Clerks) positions for the 2024 Academic Year. The intention of the Law Internship Program is to introduce participants to the federal legal system and receive an introduction to federal procedures in both the civil and criminal settings. Interns will be assigned projects from both the Civil and Criminal Divisions and will work with several different Assistant U.S. Attorneys (AUSAs) over the course of the internship. Qualifications:

Salary:
The annual salary range for this position is $250,000 to $275,000 plus benefits. Job Description:
The Editor is a creative, detail-oriented, organized, and diligent team player who works with authors, writers, and designers, as well as with our Publications, Customer Service, Production, Development, and Programs departments, to create content and products for braille teachers, readers, and their families. Working closely with the VP of Braille Publications, the Editor creates NBP’s overall publishing plan and produces the titles according to that plan. As part of the Publications team, the Editorial Director also represents NBP at conferences and trade show exhibits.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Books & Products
- Write, commission, edit, develop, and help select books and other products/content.
- Track needs and requests from customers, and trends in education and technology.
- Identify qualified authors, negotiate and prepare terms of contract.
- Develop and edit commissioned work.
- Collect opinion articles from a variety of sources - newspapers, online, from contributors - for the magazine Syndicated Columnists Weekly (SCW) Magazine.
- Work with Editor of Our Special (OS) Magazine to hire contributors in different content areas, and approve and finalize magazine content.
- Responsible for hiring, firing, supervising the OS editor.
Programs
- Work with VP of Braille Publications as needed to create, develop, and revise content for Programs: Readbooks!, Great Expectations, TVI Starter Kits, and others.
- As member of Programs Committee, meet regularly to share publishing plans, identify special funding/sponsorship opportunities, develop strategies.
- Continually assess Programs content for accuracy & effectiveness.
- Help write survey, advertising, website content, and other marketing pieces.
- Meet grant requirements as they pertain to products or content created as part of programs.
- Meet with program funders as needed to report on the development of products or content created as part of programs.
Miscellaneous Duties
- Help write catalogs for both braille and print.
- Proof and help create descriptive copy, web copy, email copy for books and products.
- Attend and exhibit at trade shows and conferences as required, both locally and nationally, to present, exhibit, or both.
- Develop strategies with the Publications, Development, Production, and Programs teams to meet publishing goals.
- When needed, serve as 3rd or 4th person in Customer Service queue, answering customer questions and taking orders
Qualifications:
- Professional experience writing, editing, and working with writers strongly preferred.
- A knowledge of/familiarity with the blindness field, especially in the areas of education and accessible technology preferred.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and set priorities appropriately.
