Midyear Meeting Dates Announced

With the fall affiliate convention season just around the corner, and perhaps already under way in some cases, I thought I would remind you that it is not too early to begin planning to attend the midyear meetings in February. If you make your plans now, you will have one less thing to take care of when holiday activities begin later in the year. Once again, we are planning to have a weekend full of programs that you won't want to miss!

We will be meeting at the Holiday Inn National Airport in Arlington, Va. again in 2012. Here are the dates: The ACB board meeting will be held on Friday, Feb. 24. The affiliate presidents' meeting will be on Saturday, Feb. 25 and Sunday, Feb. 26. The legislative seminar will begin in the afternoon of Feb. 26, continue through Monday, Feb. 27, and conclude on Tuesday, Feb. 28 with visits to Congressional offices by participants.

Room rates at the hotel are $119 per night plus tax, and reservations can be made by either calling 1-800-HOLIDAY, (1-800-465-4329) or online at www.ichotelsgroup.com/redirect?path=rates&brandCode=HI&GPC=ACB&hotelCode.... Be sure to note the group code ACB when you make your reservation. This rate is available beginning on Feb. 23, and will apply through the 29th.

Registration for these events will open shortly, but in the meantime, feel free to reserve your rooms at the Holiday Inn National Airport, and mark your calendars so you won't miss the 2012 ACB midyear programs!
