The Kentucky Council of the Blind is the statewide affiliate of the American Council of the Blind in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. With 300-plus members, weekly radio talk show, newsletters and email lists, and five local and special-interest chapters that each offer events, advocacy, information and referral, and peer support, KCB is reaching more and more Kentuckians with its message of equality, opportunity and independence.

Eastern Kentucky Christian Council of the Blind
Based in Jackson and Hazard; members throughout southeastern Kentucky welcome. The chapter meets several times a year and sponsors a summer picnic and a Christmas party for members, family and friends.

Greater Louisville Council of the Blind
The largest chapter, with members throughout the metropolitan Louisville area. GLCB sponsors several family-friendly activities each month, including daytime support groups, dine-outs at local restaurants, informative quarterly meetings and workshops, game nights, and a Christmas party.

Tri-State Library Users
KCB newest chapter addresses issues related to books, technology and accessibility of libraries to individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Meetings include interesting speakers, time for sharing good books, resources for digital and audio materials, and tips for using information technology.
