350 West Virginia Mountain State Council of the Blind Daisy Yellow Summer T-Shirt
Donated by Blind Girl Designs, Tricia Waechter
Opening Bid $25
This print really celebrates the beauty of West Virginia. The focus of the print is the sun rising over the Appalachian Mountains. Below the mountains is the beautiful russet span of the arched New River Gorge Bridge. Beneath this beautiful iron bridge is the gorge on either side with lots of shades of green foliage. Down the very center is rushing blue water. Above the rising sun is a bright yellow orange sky dotted with a few early clouds which are boldly and beautifully above this is an arch in blue that spans across the top of the print that says, “MOUNTAIN STATE COUNCIL OF THE BLIND.” The sky continues above the words until the edge of the print. On either side of this 9 by 12 print, framing the print on the left and the right are white canes. The bottom of the print has the words West Virginia in both letters and tactile braille. The tactile braille is in bright blue, and it is the same color as the rushing river. The letters are large, and the inside of the letters are cut out, so that the fabric of the garment comes through and when you wash this, the entire print will become more tactile. The print is beautiful and colorful and captures so many elements of natural beauty in West Virginia. This T-Shirt is 100% cotton, but do not size up because there is very little shrinkage and every size range is unisex. Please wash inside out in a cold wash and hang to dry or tumble for a few minutes to get the wrinkles out. These T-Shirts come in sizes youth small through large, adult small through five XL, tall large through three XL. The winner gets to choose their size!
