LaQuon S. J, originally from New York and now residing in Virginia, is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Counselor Education and Supervision at Hampton University. With 15 years of counseling experience, LaQuon has worked in numerous roles including Rehabilitation Counselor, Career Educator, Disability Specialist, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, and Transition to College Advisor. He is also the author of four fictional books highlighting individuals who have overcome adversity or struggled with fear of failure. LaQuon looks forward to meeting, socializing, and building long-lasting relationships with fellow scholarship recipients and attendees at the ACB Convention.
