Thank You for the ACB Lifetime Membership Award!
In my book, the 2020 ACB convention will go down as a memorable one! For many years, I’ve worked in registration and loved the experience of every convention. This year, it was rewarding to pre-register so many folks who, under normal circumstances, wouldn’t be able to attend a convention in person. I also took advantage of the opportunity to participate in the sessions.
Best of all, I was awarded a lifetime ACB membership from Adam and Carla Ruschival!
I wish I could express how much it means to me to be listed in this honorable list of ACB members! It has been my pleasure to work for this incredible organization and with the most amazing people. I am sighted, my husband was blind. I left the field of sign language interpreting to work for Bluegrass Council of the Blind. At that time, a friend said, “Paula, you know, once you go blind, you won’t go back!” She was right!
