We will discuss the progression of Disability Theology through the 1980's to the present.
5 pm: ICB Meet & Greet - Connecting the Blind/Visually Impaired Community Across the Land of Lincoln
The Illinois Council of the Blind invites newcomers and members - everyone is welcome! Learn about ICB activities, affiliates, chapters, and committees, explore ways to engage, and be entered into a door prize drawing.

Join us in sharing favorite Scriptures, inspirational thoughts, and prayer requests, along with discussing related resources and the technology used to access them.

A place where we discuss the “ins and outs” of spirituality! This week we will explore psychic phenomenon. Are they real and are they spiritual beings? Let’s discuss!

Members of the California Council of the Blind recap the historic Day of Action in Sacramento. Join us for that and more on the next Sunday Chat!
8 pm: Free to Be Me Books and Entertainment - Introducing the Blended Lives Chronicles Writing Team
A place to talk about books and entertainment. Come as yourself ready to have fun. This week, we'll be introducing the new writing team we've put together from our very own blindness community. Join us as we introduce to you: Beta Reader, Kaila Allen, Cover Artist, Jordan Allen, (Yes, Kaila’s Son) and our new amazing editor, Casey Mathews from Web Friendly Help.
Pop some mid-day popcorn and join the festivities. We will have a drawing for free book series giveaways.
8 pm: Let's Just Talk About Jesus
This is a nonjudgmental, warm, welcoming place where we talk about Jesus and the Bible and encourage one another. Different denominations or spiritual views will not be discussed.
