Toban (Toby) H is a computer science student at Messiah University, where he will be a sophomore next semester. Born in China, Toban moved to the United States with his parents shortly before turning fourteen and now lives in a rural town in Pennsylvania. During the academic year, he serves as an office assistant for the Office of General Education, contributing to research efforts and conducting data analysis. Outside of class, Toban enjoys playing chess, listening to historical documentaries, programming, and volunteering as a tutor for a math club organized by Math Minds Unseen. One of the projects he is most proud of is his own implementation of the Promise API in JavaScript. At this year’s convention, Toban is especially excited to connect with blind professionals in computer science and learn from their experiences in the industry.
