Come one come all; as we share old school moments from largest to smallest.

11 am: Saturday Morning Trivia

Play Saturday morning trivia with Danette and your fellow Community members. Some of these are pretty easy. Some will break your brain. Fun and laughter will be plentiful.

12 pm: Crocheted Custom ERGONOMIC pillow

In this class, we’ll make a custom lap pillow to support your arms, wrists, and shoulders while you crochet. It can help reduce pain, improve posture, and increase how long you can crochet comfortably.

1 pm: ACB Government Employees Open Chat

This call is open to current and former local, state, and federal government employees and contractors who are concerned about their status or looking for resources to assist them with next steps, related to the current administration's nonstop flurry of activity concerning the federal government. Families and friends of this group are also welcome. 

To encourage the sharing of thoughts, views, and concerns of the participants, only first names will be used and the call will not be podcasted.

1 pm: Friendship Circle

Take your connection to the next level! Participate in smaller gatherings of three to five people in friendship circles and will do them as many times as we can in one hour.

Note: This event is using breakouts. Everyone must identify themselves to participate.

2 pm: Cajun Debate

This call is to debate various topics, such as, canes versus guide-dogs, bus transport versus car transport, and things like that.

2 pm: Disability Reading Group

We meet monthly to talk about books that examine disability from personal, cultural, and political perspectives. In January we're discussing "The Radical Lives of Helen Keller" by Kim E. Nielsen (DB57987). It's available on BARD and CELA.

3 pm: Personal Finance and Investments

Discussion of personal finance, debt management, and assorted investment techniques. Bring any questions you may have!

4 pm: What Do You Want at Your State Convention?

Join the conversation and share what you’d like to see at future state conventions, from entertainment and social time to food, tech, and helpful resources. No idea is too small and every suggestion helps us improve.

6 pm: Weekend Braille Together - Base Braille Ball

Let's play braille! Join us for this team game where everyone gets a chance to sport their braille skills! Braille beginners to experts are invited to play, and there is always room in the stands!

8 pm: Community Karaoke

Meka and Cindy invite you for another night of karaoke with your community friends. Performances are all pre-recorded. Those wishing to perform should email community@acb.org to be included in the weekly communication.

Note: Please remain muted throughout the evening with only a brief unmuting to provide verbal applause at the end of each performance. Hosts will mute as needed and remove repeat offenders if necessary.
