This call will discuss the various aspects of being blind or visually impaired. We will ask ice-breaker questions and spend 15 minutes on each topic to insure we can cover a variety of different topics.

4 pm: Deciphering Dots
Join us to decipher “Charlie & Mouse Even Better” by Laurel Snyder (BARD: BR23857), a dual-format braille book with both contracted and uncontracted text. We’ll explore its layout and take turns reading aloud to practice our skills.

Take your connection to the next level! Participate in smaller gatherings of three to five people in friendship circles and we'll do them as many times as we can in one hour.

Grab your favorite snack and/or beverage and join us for an hour of all thing’s diabetes. This is an open forum for sharing tips and tricks that may help one better manage one’s diabetes with vision loss! This is a peer-to-peer support group; any suggested changes should be discussed with your medical team.
