WASHINGTON, July 15, 2019 - The American Council of the Blind (ACB) proudly announces the 2019 Achievement Awards in Audio Description, an initiative of the Council’s Audio Description Project (ADP).
In conjunction with ACB’s 58th annual conference and convention in Rochester, N.Y., the awards were presented at a plenary session of the conference before over 1,000 people who are blind. The awards included:

ACB wants to know what attendees hear and see in Rochester. Throughout the week, we encourage you to take pictures with friends, record sound bites of events, or capture video of anything you want to share. 2019 is a pivotal year for ACB because we will be holding elections for officers, and with several officers leaving the Board, there will be change.
