303 Irish Blessing Green T-shirt
Donated by Blind Girl Designs Tricia Waechter
Opening Bid $25
When I grew up, the Irish blessing was just a standard thing in my household and all of my family households. It goes something like this “May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be always your back. May the sun shine brightly upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.” I’m going to say that formed a lot of my point of view about life. So, for this design we picked the first two lines of the Irish blessing, “May the road rise up to meet you, May the wind be always at your back” The words are inside of a shamrock which I drew with a thick line around each portion of the shamrock. We created this in the classic Celtic font, which is the font of Ireland. Underneath each word is the word in tactile braille. We also added glow-in-the-dark ink because just in case you’re a pub and want to get a bit o’ attention, we thought that would be fun! Also, of course, all the inks on the shirt are tactile and the braille is completely readable. We designed this for St. Patrick’s Day, but we also purposely designed this so you can wear it 12 months of the year. Now remember, the glow in the dark ink must be held up to a light source before you wear it. It will continue to glow for about four hours, and if you’re in a lighted situation, it will just continue to glow as long as you’re around light. If you stick it in the drawer and want to wear it later, hold it in front of a lamp or light source for about three minutes prior to wear and it will recharge. This t-shirt is 100% cotton, but do not size up because there is very little shrinkage. Please wash inside out in a cold wash and hang to dry or tumble for a few minutes to get the wrinkles out. Every size range is unisex. These t-shirts come in sizes youth small through large, adult small through five XL, tall large through three XL. The winner gets to pick their size!

316 Tiny Forest Dreams
Donated by Lena Regina
Opening Bid $20
This small square canvas overflows with texture and life, inviting the fingertips to explore a miniature, magical forest scene. In the center and slightly left three vibrant red mushrooms with thick stems pop up from a lush, mossy ground. Their caps are domed and bumpy, with raised white dots you can feel. Each mushroom varies slightly in height and size, giving the sense of a little cluster growing close together. Surrounding the mushrooms at the base is textured green moss made with a raised, soft acrylic medium and nestled into this moss are small, real stones with smooth and rough textures, and scattered among them are tiny pearl like beads that feel cool and round to the touch like dew drops or magical forest orbs. To the right of the mushrooms, a thick leafy bush rises with leaves and blossoms you can feel. The leaves are jagged and veiny with thick paint application. Nestled into this bush are three raised flowers with thick, pink, purple petals, and golden centers, glittery to the touch, adding shimmer and contrast. The sky above is smooth in texture, painted with strokes of soft blue and white, suggesting a peaceful, cloudy sky. The grassy area beneath is layered with textured brush strokes and dotted colors, giving a wild, blooming meadow feel. This piece invites not just the eyes, but the hands and imagination bringing to life a scene that feels like stepping into a storybook glade.

340 Colorful Butterfly of White Canes T-Shirt
Donated by Blind Girl Designs, Tricia Waechter
Opening Bid $25
We used the actual Monarch butterfly pattern, which has shades of yellow and gold/orange on the delicate wings. We have outlined the edges of the butterfly wings with a beautiful blue color instead of the classic black. A monarch butterfly also has white dots on each wing around the edges. We have added little white hearts in these placements. The combination of the blues and the yellows and the golds and the whites is just magnificent and vibrant. Of course, the body of the butterfly is made up of two different white canes, both are canes I use! The straps of the canes create the antenna of the butterfly and at the tip of each of the antenna we added a little heart shape instead of just the rounded strap. This is truly a Blind Girl Designs design if there ever was one! This T-shirt is 100% cotton, but do not size up because there is very little shrinkage when washed. Please wash inside out in cold wash and hang to dry or tumble for a few minutes to get the wrinkles out.
